Digital Detox Training Course (2025)

Context

In an age dominated by digital technology, individuals often experience increased stress, reduced presence in their daily lives, and weakened interpersonal connections. The Digital Detox project addresses these challenges by creating a device-free retreat, encouraging participants to disconnect from electronics and focus on themselves, their environment, and their relationships. This initiative promotes mindfulness, emotional health, and community living, offering a profound opportunity for personal growth and reflection. Additionally, it provides a unique opportunity for a neurological reset, allowing participants to regain clarity and balance.

The Digital Detox program comprises structured workshops and activities designed to foster self-awareness, well-being, and connection:

    •         Mindfulness and Somatic Practices: Guided meditations, body-focused exercises, and improvisational activities help participants reconnect with their physical and emotional selves.

    •         Nature Immersion: Extensive time outdoors fosters grounding and a renewed appreciation for the natural environment.

    •         Community Learning: Participants will have dedicated time to propose their own workshops. With assistance from facilitators, they will design and deliver these sessions, encouraging creativity and collaborative learning.

    •         Community Living: Group responsibilities and shared experiences nurture empathy, teamwork, and a sense of belonging. Community rituals will be embedded into daily life to foster deeper connections with oneself and others.

    •         Digital-Free Space: Devices are surrendered on the first day and returned at the end of the retreat, ensuring an immersive and distraction-free experience. Participants will engage fully in the present moment without digital interruptions.

    •         Alcohol-Free Environment: A safe, substance-free setting encourages clarity, authenticity, and meaningful interactions.

Costs and fees

This project is co-funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. Maximum travel reimbursement: 28 EUR to 580 EUR (not green travel)  OR 56-785 (green travel), based on distance and means of transportation, per person.  (approval needed before buying tickets after being selected).

We encourage personal accountability and ownership. Based on your financial capacity we suggest a sliding scale of 50-70 Euro for the host organization. (non refundable) You can choose the best fit for you.
